In this group workshop you will learn the basics of working with silver to create your own pair of luxe earrings. You will learn about the different tools and when best to use them. Once you've had a practice run on some scrap material, we'll put your new skills to good use by creating a simple square cushion cover. You will be working on a beginners sewing machine that is extremely easy and functional to use.


HIGHLIGHTS

- How to measure, mark and cut your fabric for the envelope cushion cover

- Use different tools for a cleaner finish

- Learn how to sew in a straight line

- Learn how to set up a simple sewing machine, wind the bobbin and thread the machine

- Use different stitches such as straight and zig zag

- Hem edges to create a neat finish

- Learn how to secure raw edges from fraying without needing an expensive Overlocker
